I've forgotten over the years but how did the Hulk Come into existance

Bruce Banner was working for the government developing a new weapon called a Gamma Bomb. During test of the weapon a kid named Rick Jones got caught out on the testing field. Risking his own life Banner left the bunker got Rick and pushed him inside, but he couldn't get in himself before the bunker was sealed and the bomb went off. Exposure to the high amounts of gamma radiation caused a mutation in Banner, which is triggered by anger.
It was revealed later that the tranformations are based on a psychological disorder he developed as a result of abuse he suffered as a child at the hands of his father. Something like a split personality. The Hulk was probably always there, the mutation just gave it a form.

In an alternate reality, there is some radioactive matter known as Gamma rays which acts differently to how Gamma rays acts in this reality. When Dr Bruce Banner detonated an A-Bomb in the Sahara desert in order to tap into the alternate reality's energies, he accidently released it into this reality through a large fissure and was exposed to it. Instead of killing him, it turned him into a grey behemoth known as Joe Fixit in the other universe, but called The Hulk in this universe. As he adjusted to the alternate gamma rays and it interacted with this world, he gradually turned green (it brought out the green veins which all humans have to such an extent that it changed his colour). Eventually, around Hulk 300, he was actually banished to the alternate universe from which he came by Dr Strange.

Bouncer/ Las Vegas Hustler, just like Joe Fixit was in the later Hulk stories when the grey Hulk returned from the alternate universe (around #325 or so) and later went round dressed in some snazzy suits. That's pretty much well known - but Flinch knows more about this than I do, so best ask him.

Dude man Soccerdude wut was up with ur comments those werent cool i cant believe you would say sumthing like THAT on this B-E-A-utiful site. Ha, schizophrenia at it's best people! It's more than obvious, but just for the sake of mention, Soccerdude and Bling are the same person, or at least they have the same IP. I think if Soccerdude is banned, it's only fair that Bling is as well.

I didn't realise he was actually trapped in that forum. I thought he just was the sole inhabitant and no-one else ever bothered to make any contributions. Now I see that the storyboard is a sort of limbo dimension where certain C2F visitors are kept. A bit like Forum 9?

I see it more as a barrier or moat that seperates you know what from the rest of the forums. Designed to keep people out, or perhaps keep something in. A wasteland that can be entered, but not easily crossed and certainly nothing can survive there. Except, apparently, demolition18.
Perhaps he was created as some sort of gaurdian to drive away the curious.
It's all very mysterious and scary.
