Yes, but how will you truly know if it sucks or not, if you do not watch it? Don't be a lemming, and listen to what others think of a film. Tastes and opinions vary. Some loved the first one, and some(such as yourself) hated it. I personally have mixed feelings about the film. I loved certain aspects of Hulk, such as how acurately they portrayed his look and powers. However, I cringed at his new origins, and the length of time it took, to actually see big green. One thing I'm sure of, is that if they bring in a big hitter villian(ie: The Abomination) for the sequel, it's gonna' be great!

BTW, you can't post somthing like that in a Hulk Forum, and not expect people who enjoyed the film to write back..
Don't worry, we won't have to hear anymore mindless rambling from Trunks16, as I banned him the other day for starting a lie-filled, inappropriate topic in another forum

Dude, Hulk didn't suck. So we didn't get to see Hulk smash early on. That's ok, i didn't want a mindless smash-'em-up summer flick. The new origin, well, it wasn't drastically bad or anything, though it lacked bite, if anything.
I'm really looking forward to Hulk 2.

I've enjoyed all the Marvel films since Blade came out. Before that, well, that's another story.
Yeah, I hope they make another Hulk movie (strange sense of deja vu, as if I may have started another post with that comment...), but I hope they bring in the Leader, I always thought he was pretty cool.

How about we get Jackman to do Hulk2 (using sevceral loopholes in his X-Men contract)?
Wolverine versus Hulk. Worth a shot.

Jackman wanted to play in a Bill Bixby biopic, so he might not object to the Hulk. But he'd be far too associated with Wolverine. I personally don't even really see him as a convincing Bill Bixby, let alone Bruce Banner. We need someone who is less tough.

The visual graphics of the movie: Awesome.
The storyline, had some major lack-luster.
Overall, it was fairly poor. Hopefully, the 2nd one will have some more "bang" for our bucks, and a major and superb supervillian, like the origin of the ABOMINATION! Yeah!
Hulk Movie Rating: 5/10; my opinion folks. Don't hate the "playa", hate the game, especially if that game happens to be SEGA GENESIS, Spiderman MAXIMUM CARNAGE! Ukkk!!

Well, whether Hulk 2 is going to stink or not will not matter for me because when I saw the movie for first the time it was a bootleg video file which had a scene with giant bare skin glutious maximus of Hulk's bottom permantly blinding me forever! Never again will I watch a bootleg movie or any other comic book movie; which isn't all that bad when you think of the past comic movies that have come out.
Remeber kids, just say no to Giant Naked Green Butts!

The first Hulk didn't suck as a movie, it just disappointed as a HULK movie. It's funny, I can't quite describe it. It's like Ghost Rider. Visually it was on point, story wise it stuck to the comic, but at the end of the movie I was like, "ehhh...I could've had a V8."
I'll know whether or not to see this movie once I hear an interview from the director. As far as I'm concerned TRUE Hulk fans love the Savage Hulk. If you love the Ben Grim (grey hulk) or the Bruce Banner Dominant Hulk, then you aren't a true fan of the Hulk series or a purist of the Comic. HULK SMASH! Nuff said. This ain't rocket science and if the director under, over and inner stands this...we've FINALLY got a Hulk hit on our hands.
Also, someone should've told Ang Lee that the title of the movie was HULK, not BRUCE.
Holip
the ceo of marvel promised more action so yeah i think it will be better than hulk 1 because they are gonna stay true to the comicsbook and the villain will be abomination ,so it will be hulk smash hulk smash some more, plus they will show the hero aspact of the hulk that even though the hulk is a monster and he should be destroyed in the next movie bruce will realize that there are times he will need the hulk like to beat the abomination.

I was able to recently read a script review of this upcoming Hulk flick, and from the things that I've read (plus the videos, stills from the sets, etc.), that have been brought to the 'net, I believe we're going to have one heluva sequel (or should I call it......"re-boot", like the fellas at Marvel Entertainment are referring to it??)
People might not find it as interesting as I do, but the stills that I've seen from the set .........which, by the way, are shooting up in Toronto, Canada.....really fascinate me, because the sets that were shown are supposed to be in NYC (Harlem, specifically). I must say, as a NY native who's been up to Harlem over the years, that the carpenters & artisans who are working on this film are really amazing. When I saw the pics from the sets, I thought, "NOOOO! This has to be the real Harlem!" It just looked too good to be a movie set. That's one of the things that's got me sooooo juiced up for this version of The Hulk: The incredible, delicate care in which they are taking to get the look and feel down correctly. If they are taking such pains to get things done right just by trying to make the locations look accurate, then think of how they must be handling the characterizations? How they want THOSE to be portrayed just right?? Know what I mean??!
There's a slight problem with having Emil Blonsky as a KGB agent. They're called the FSB now, since the early 1990s. I assume the movie will reflect that change, unless it says that Blonsky was a former KGB agent.

From what I've read, Blonsky (Tim Roth) is not even an agent from another country.....but they are making him a Col. (or General, I'm not so sure), who heads up a "Hulk Busters" styled outfit......he becomes The Abomination when he finds out that there is a Government run experiment to create super soldiers.........sort of like creating more "Hulk-like" creations.......and he basically volunteers to be injected with the ingredient that turns him into The Abomination.

It seems like someone is combining "Universal Solider" with a dozen or so bad horror movies, where the scientist test the "boon for mankind"
serum on himself, only to have disastrous results....

Well, actually, he's asked to volunteer for the project, and he whole-heartedly accepts. I don't know if your comparison is really the same, but I think I get your drift.

HeD t r i p p i n ' Hulk 1 was the best directed marvel movie to date. Regrettably this was its downfall as a film. It was a soup opera comic. and the constant frothing of bruce banner throughout the film hindered its high point build ups. Nick Nolte was brilliant. the portrayal of Ang Lee's story line was amazing. Certain scenes in that film will always stick out in peoples mind and give them sensations of wonderment. Fans of this movie are most definately avid Lost goers. Expect the new version to share the same flaws as the first with its drama orientation.
