First off I m a bit ticked that they are making another 1.5 after I have already bought the original. I got X-Men 1.5 off ebay fairly cheap but I m a big fan of X-Men but DD the movie was ok. DD 1.5 is rated R so I assume there will be more graphic scenes in there but will it just be one added scene or a lot of new scenes? Anyone know or think this 1.5 will really be worth buying the movie for a second time?

I'm thinking I'll try and sell my original copy and then buy 1.5. I had when movie companys do this. With X-Men it was no big deal because I didn't have #1 on DVD (just on video) so buying 1.5 was no biggie. But with films like LotR and DD, I want the 2nd releases more, but I see no sense in having 2 copies of each.

But will 1.5 cut out scenes from the standard cinema cut? Because I'd rather have everything that was in the cinema release plus more, and not bits of the film on one disc and other bits on another.

And 1.5 should be interesting to see just how bad Matt Murdock's legal skills actually are. He already made a botched job of his cross examination in the courtroom bit they did have in the film.

On another note, I hear that Ben Affleck is having reservations about returning to DD2 but might only be prepared to make a cameo in Elektra.

If it doesn't have the theatrical cut I'll get it and keep my original release.

As for Affleck not doing another DD, perhaps he's posturing for $ or trying to put pressure on Kevin Smith to write the script.

Probably both. I also read that he feels it would be to much work for him.... I guess when you have an all access pass to J-Lo your always warn out.
