For sequels of spiderman Daredevil and possibly the Punisher. Does this mean that MCD will play the Kingpin for all three series is they decide to add him in the.movies

--Highly unlikely...
Spider-Man is at Sony
Daredevil is at Fox
Punisher is at Artisan
That's three different studios making three totally unrelated movies, and while it would be neat to see something tying them together, I doubt they'd ever do that.
The only case I can think of off the top of my head where something similar happened is that Micheal Keaton played the same role in "Jackie Brown" and "Out of Sight." These movies were done by different studios, production companies, directors, but somehow, Michael Keaton got to play the same role in each.
Though, I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibility... just highly unlikely.

Ehh... More than likely, I think they'll just distance themselves. You might not see Kingpin in a Spidey flick or Punisher movie.

It may cut out a lot of great classic stories (though I don't know much about Kingpin's involvement in any of the comics), but my guess is the film studios will try to eliminate the continuity/crossover mess with their film incarnations. Certainly has its advantages and disadvantages... Let's face it: done well and within reason, crossovers rule! However, I think the characters will be first-come, first-serve with the Marvel films.

Avi Arad probably does some pre-emptive thinking out of what characters get tied to what films.

How did that happen?? Didnt Tarantino write Jackie Brown? So if it's his character, how did it appear in Out Of Sight? Unless Tarantino wrote that one too..

I think it might. No one studio owns the right to the Kingpin. Plus, Michael Clark Duncan did reprise him in the MTV Spidey cartoon (made by Sony, aka, Columbia Pictures). Plus, Kingpin is a major player in the "Spider-Man" and "Daredevil" books. Strange, that I don't remember him fighting the Punisher, except in a "What If...?" story.

No he didn't. He adapted the story from a book.
