A Direct-To-Video Superman movie?

Makes you wonder how bad Warner will be hurt if this film bombs.

I'm not sure this movie can bomb. Even if the on-line buzz is poor the character is so iconic, plus has been out of theatres for a long time. People will go. The WB marketing machine will see to it that bums are on seats come opening weekend.

A direct to video movie will never... SHOULD never happen. I don't care how much Hollywood feels the effects of lower attendance at the theaters, they should never taint a franchise like Superman with a direct to video release.

Unless they are talking about some kind of animated feature.
