In yet an other showing of how incredibly lame and lamely hip MTV is, they nominated the passionless same-sex kiss of Jennifer Garner abd Natassia Malthe from the passionless movie as best kiss.
I gotta say, that was one of the lamest kisses and most over hyped scenes I've seen in a while and definately in a comic book movie. The only lamer kiss was between Elektra and the tacked on love interest of the mis-named Mark Miller.
That kiss wasn't even sound and fury signyfying nothing. It was a lame fabrication signyfying nothing.
Do these people even know what the hell kissing is about? The MTV generations are doomed. Romance has been flushed down the drain.

Then again, they nominated Brad Pitt for "Troy" for Best Male Performance and the MTV distributed Napoleon Dynamite for Best Movie. To bad too many teens eat this crap up like candy, otehrwise it could be funny as the joke it is.

Okay reality check. The MTV Movie Awards are not the Oscars. Thank God. They pander to the lowest common denominator as far as acting is concerned. A nomination for Best Kiss? The girl on girl kiss is really played out and *yawn* the concept is outdated. Been there done that. Besides most of the turkeys that get nominated are usually films most of us have avoided. Elektra!?! Be sure to catch Deuce Bigalow 2 and House of Wax on next year's list of nominations. Hey if I had to wager Paris Hilton should win something like um... Best Vapid Socialite Reality Pornostar with No Real Talent.

I'd give her an audition. http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/wink.gif
But anyway, nothing's being said here that someone hasn't said before. MTV sucks and it has been sucking for a long time, and I don't mean that in a good way. Now if I said Paris Hilton has been suc....oh let me stop myself right there.
I tried to vote on the thing but i dont think it worked bcuz i was able to vote again...and again..and again... :? i think they dont count the votes at all...but if they do then i have a better chance at getting my voted choice winning. wierd mtv site...

MTV is all about accurately reporting news and their own awards show. Why else would they beat out CNN and the Daily Show for a Peabody Award.
And if anyone calls it a "Pea-body", I'll cut you.

It's "Pea-b-dy"! "Pea-b-dy"!! I'll kill you! ... CHOWAH!
Anyway, I do belive I shall avoid the MTV movie awards. My roomated RplayTVed (TIVOed) the whole X-Box 360 thing last night. Wow. Talk about sound and fury signifying nothing. Elijah Wood went down a few pegs for eving being on the show. Oh and that whole lame use of the band The Killers was a lame excuse why it was on MTV.
