this will make or break the movie. so far, they are off to a good start, reaveling the picture was a good move, gave me and i know many other fans, more certainty about the movie. now what they need to do is slap together a teaser trailer. like the hulk did last year at spiderman.

open with a rainy day in a cematery, with nazi ocultist chanting something, surounded by the SS. then "this summer....something demonic this way comes!" flash to american soldier giving lil hellboy pancakes "pamcakes!" then another flash, to the heLlboy of the present......"HELLBOY, SUMMER OF 2004"

I can think of better teasers though, have you seen the flash on the movies website? a live action version of that would make a great teaser.
the photo of Perlman in make-up is OK, the make-up looks really good, but the photo is of pretty low quality, and i don't think it does Perlman justice. Ido think that the "hellboy sighting" newspaper pic. would make agreat poster.
