FLCL Vol 4

i was on the net the other day and i found something about a 4th FLCL dvd. does anybody know about it? the series stops at the 3rd dvd. does anybody know whats on the 4th dvd?
if you do i would really help me!

I've heard people talk about this, mostly as hopes for more... but.. there simply is no more FLCL. Gainax is done with it.. for now.

A few years down the road.. who knows.. but there are no plans for anything else other than.. MOICHENDIZING! Plus I got my 3 DVD box set and that's a nice number.

Now there are 6 DVDs of FLCL in Japan, but that's because anime DVDs over there are insanely priced and they released them as 1 ep per DVD. That may be what you heard about.

Well, not really much to talk about. Gainax and those involved have moved on to other stuff. There is no talk, save for that of fans wishing, of any follow up to FLCL. I only said 'for now' because you never know if Gainax some day down the road would dig this bakc up.

Right now they are starting up co-reating a live action Evangelion movie. Not to mention a rerelase of the series and new video games and other various merchendising. Hey, like any company, if they'll amke money off of it, they'll make it.

FLCL wasn't as popular ar ethre mega-blockbuster Evalgeion. Plus it was co-made with Production IG,so that makes a follow up less likely.

Yet many of us love this amazing oaV mini-series. I really don't need any more of it. It doesn't need a sequel and sometimes the sequel is just uneeded. If the creators ever feel like there is more of teh characters' story to tell, then fine, but I think this gem is fine as it is.

oh, one thing you may want to get are the FLCL sound tracks. At least one is out in the US from Pioneer / Geneon music with the second I think on its way. (Avoid the basically bootleg cheap Hong Kong ones.)
