The fantastic Four movie was made by Roger Corman and it was SO bad that they didn't even release it on video. As far as the Thing, I think he looked like so much ass, the effects were aweful, acting was horrid, directing. . .even worse. So in conclusion, yes, it was utter crap.

C'MON.....nobody mentioed the famous dr.doom overacting. y'see when the actor found out they were re-dubbing his lines he started using hand gestuers. like when he tells the f.f they have 12 hours to save the world...he makes a writes the number 12 in the air with his fingers. i dunno..i think it's still good for a laugh. especially if your drunk.

Its outright garbage. Only track this down if you want a laugh. You gotta love the spectacular special ffects scene of Johnny becoming the Human Torch. Thats just classic.

I saw this film when this guy working at a comic store, let me rent a copy of the movie he had. here's what I thought was bad:
1. That horrid theme song
2. The acting of whoever played Jonny Storm
3. I was wondering why Doom kept moving his hands.
4. the effects
5.the script
6. anything that had to do with the jewler.
7. the rest of the acting.
8. how boring most of it was.
9. I'll stop here, cause, I don't know when this list ends.

and here's some things I liked:
1. Dooms costume was pretty well done, other then the fact that the mouth didn't move.
2. The things costume was pretty decent I think.
3. When Doom trashed the Jewlers place, cause I hate the Jewler, cause he's so annoying.
4. It was funny. That's how bad it was.

the reason doom kept moving his hands was because the actor found out they were going to re-dub his lines with another actors voice so he over acted.
i dont think dooms mouth should move anyway.it is an iron mask afterall.

I, for one, have never seen this thing, and from what I've heard from COUNTLESS others, I don't think I even WANT to find a copy of it. I just think that it'd be best to let this thing stay where it is, and move on to a Production that's going to do it justice. By the way, everybody who's seen this alway's invariably wind's up talking about either Doom, Johnny or Ben...... I was just wondering (for a giggle), how were the effects for Reed and Sue? Was the stretching at the very LEAST fun to watch? How about Sue, did they just have her voice appear out of no where when she was supposed to be invisible? Please, let me know and .................
