Sad news if so, the movie looks very promising. Amazon has it listed as does Wal-Mart for a July 05, 2005 release.

The DVD listed for release on July 5th is the cartoon series from the 90s, not the new movie. The movie is still being released in theaters.

Thanks for the clerification. The movie industry has been testing films to be released as both DVD and theatre and I am glad to hear this is NOT part of that test. Scared the heck out of me.
