Horrible News!!!

I was reading the latest WW movie news on the Wonder Woman Fan Page and found out a terrible thing! It seems Warner Brothers is shelving the WW movie project because of the fact that "Hulk" and "Tomb Raider 2" failed to make enough money. It seems WB is "re-evaluating" thier C2F projects, because they think that comic movies are over. That sux!!!

It seems they are still gearing for Batman, Superman, and Constantine though.

However, truthfully, I have little faith that a Wonder Woman movie will see the light of day for a long time. I've felt this way for a while. I doubt we'll see any WW until we see :supes: and :bats:

It really is stupid. Maybe if they don't put so much animation in WW like they did in "Hulk" and they put a story with it like they didn't do with Tomb Raider (which is currently a comic book) Wonder Woman would have a chance.

All WB needs to do is make a great film with a modest budget and it would almost certainly make a tidy profit. Yet another missed opportunity...

Y'know, I wish someone would do a Wonder Woman project like the "Batman : Dead End" one. That would satisfy me immensly to see Diana in a film made by someone who cares as much for her as the guy that made Dead End cares for Batman. That would be awesome.

I doubt we'll ever see something like that. At most, it would resemble the tv series with Linda Carter.

the hardest thing will be a) I don't know jack about filmmaking and b) casting WW.

Well I just read another piece of news over at Super Hero Hype. Apparently storyboarding is still going on, so this movie could happen still. Let's all cross our fingers and pray very hard!!!
