Guys and Gals,I need help

I need help. i'm working with Paint,and I'm trying to make a Colossus. It's not working,though. I mean,I have the base pic and I was hoping on somehow coloring him,and it worked,coloring his body,but when i color his head it looks dreadful. Is there any way at all to change it? i tried copy and pasting metallic stuff,but they always appear with a white background even when i dont cut.

Are you working with Microsoft Paint - like the program that comes with Windows? Ouch dude, that's reeeeeally tough to work in. I'm like a fish in tequila in MS Paint but if you're willing to try it, you might just want to paint in the effects by hand by using a paint brush in whites, grays, and blacks. The other thing you can try - and I don't know if it would even work, is trying to paste in a black and white photo. That might be the easiest...

Yeah,Ms Paint...great tool *sarcasm*

But I'll take your advice on it. I was hoping there could be a way to change it,because when I do the head,it looks VERY bad...hmm...i could do a headless colossus...weird...but interesting.
