Come on people! I want a Hawkeye movie. I mean the costume is basically a batman costume and he is basically a super hero robin hood. It makes me sad knowing that this former Avenger who is way better then Captain America, and yet they made a movie for Cap.

It is not like it would be hard to make it. He doesn't have any super-powers. I was just reading some product development they may have.

2007 could see: 'Spider-Man 3', 'Namor', 'The Hulk 2' and 'Wolverine'

Beyond that Marvel lists 'Ant-Man,' 'Black Panther', 'Captain America', 'Nick Fury', 'Silver Surfer' and 'Thor' as being in development.

NICK FURY?!?! COME ON!!! Hawkeye had more character then Nick Fury. Like seriously, I dunno, I think they should seriously consider it. Plus I read that some people don't want Gambit in X-3? What is that about. Gambit rocks, I was waiting forever in X-Men Evolution for Gambit to show up and he is a bad guy. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Actually, Nick Fury is a pretty cool character. I believe that Marvel wants to pitch him as a superspy. Hey, if they can base as much of it from Sterenko's stuff, fine, should be nice.
Now, Ant Man. There's an eyebrow raiser. He's basically a barely-there character. I mean, how many guises did Henry Pym do, besides AM? Yellowjacket, Giant Man, and Ant Man. He's really not that interesting of a character.
And as far as a Hawkeye movie, well, he's not really a fully developed character. So far, all his biggest moments were taking a backseat with the Avengers, much like Ant Man. But, if they did have a talented enough creative team, they could make him into a new Blade.
And I'm with you on Gambit. I like him. Some people don't. But don't ask me why. Maybe something to do with him seeming too much like a mix of Cyclops and Wolverine.

The Avengers for a movie:

Pym (street clothes)
Ant-Man II (Lang)
Wasp
Hawkeye
and/or maybe Vision.

Assuming that this isn't a Captian America sequel within the Marv-Paramount deal (which includes Fury and Cap) that's the roster I'd go with. The effects could match and be around such characters without much problem. The mere irony of Pym being more effective out of a hero uniform makes this a more interesting take. Likewise, a street like hero, such as Hawkeye, would be good too.

But will Hawkeye be a part of the in-dev Black Widow film? Ahhh...that's the question of the day.

On a side note, I would like to see a TV series concerning Silver Sable and Wild Pack. But that's just me.

Sorry, but a Hawkeye solo movie is a ridiculous idea. Hawkeye has never been a succesful solo character and is essentially nothing without the Avengers (not that he can't survive outside the team, but without them to establish him in an origin, just who is he?). There is simply no way he could hold enough interest for an entire movie to be based around him. He's a jerk with a bow and arrow...hello summer blockbuster....

Nick Fury, on the other hand, could make an incredible movie. I agree with Easy D that the Steranko stuff is ideal for a movie version of Fury. Fury has the potential to be this really strange mixture of James Bond and XXX, but in a leadership role, as opposed to taking orders.

The Ant-Man movie will never get off the ground. That's possibly the worst idea in the world...unless of course, his loser status is played for laughs. It might be kind of cool to have a film examining the life of a total nothing superhero (I'm assuming this would focus on the Lang version of Ant-Man, but I don't really know).

I'm really not counting on ever seeing Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Black Widow or Thor. Their wheels have been spinning for ages and they simply aren't lucrative enough to waste so much time on. Spider-man and X-Men were worth the hassle to bring them to screen, but that is not the case here...

Actually, a Thor movie maybe closer than you might think. Mr. Hollywood-Comic-Book-Guy himself, David S.Goyer, is currently writing a screenplay for it, along with a Flash film, and possibly a Nightstalkers flick and a Batman sequel.

I know, but I still have no expectation of ever seeing Thor on the big screen (not that I particularly want to). I'm sure it won't be long before Thor has gone the way of Iron Fist. I just don't see there being enough interest in the character for a studio to actually produce it once they get an estimated budget.

The entire concept of Thunderbolts is pretty much negated if the characters haven't already been established as villains.

Essex is right, there's no way that Thunderbolts could work as a film. The whole idea of villains pretending to be heroes in order to futher their villainous agenda would confuse the hell out of an audience not versed in comic book logic. An independant fan film perhaps for those of us familiar with the characters, but an actual studio version I doubt could ever happen.

Which came first, the Green Arrow or the Hawkeye??? Okay, so it really doesn't matter. What does matter is that a movie soley based on Hawkeye is a really bad idea. UNLESS... you pitch that idea to Marvel and include the Sci-Fi channel or FOX as a possible platform to air it on. Remember, Marvel is wanting to make movies on its smaller and less known characters (eg. Man-Thing) in the near-future. Ghost Rider is in production for the big-screen,yes, but what Hawkeye is missing is his own monthly book which GR has had for 3 decades.
