I will be going into detail as to why i have not even been on this website since days after the release of X2 which was in 2003. Wow more than two years. Im sure few even remember my name, but back in the golden days of the website i was quite popular. Back in the day when names of Huges, Essex my buddy Zac were all newbies. Back when I prank called Robbo every day :P . I managed several manips, and will be posting an old manip that I had in mind, and have had saved since issue 26. Anyway i think like 4 comics movies have come out since then not counting the abismle pieces of crap that will remain nameless in this post.

Well X3 has undergone two director changes, and i think will be for the best. Anyone that sells out a going franchise i dont trust anyway. And as much a Vaughn may succeed in future, ha has to realize that being away from your family in order to make movies for a living, unless you are robert rodriguez. Besides going from Layer Cake which cant be more than a few million and throwing him into a 200 million production for the possible finale of a trillogy is hard on anyone. I truly have faith in Ratner he is an old fan of the comic, he knows his stuff, and wont let people change stuff unless its for the better. Yes we can dwell on the fact that trillongies that loose their director after two films suck royale ass, (batman) but there is a trilogy that after loosing their two film director has bested any previous box office holdings, that being Harry Potter.

New castings...
Beast... you couldnt make a better actor. Kelsey is very credible, and an just all around perfect. With beast you are pretty much casting a voice. cause the action sequences will be doubles or cgi. and to top it off he will be fury blue so anyone who says he wont look the part feel free to hit yourself.

Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut

I didnt see Juggs coming it is really cool and obviously Mr. Jones can pull it off so i dont have anything to complain about. The most that i worry with this character is how they use him, not how they cast him. again he will be in a helmet and pending on the suit design possibly armor so it doesnt much matter.

they say that Angel is going to be in this but a month away from principal photography and you havent announced castings tells me thet whatever we think we know about the story we dont know at all. Could angel be in this film? yes. but i would gather that his role will be as much as Iceman in the first X-men much like they say Gambits will be... if Remy even makes an appearance.

And while we are on castings for my Cajun brother, lemme lay to rests any questions as to who could play him.. James Marsters.. you watch enough Buffy and it is obvious. He could do Quicksilver well, but he just screams at me Gambit. It turns out that he is actually really old. he is like 40, but if the make up people on Buffy can make him look 20 then im sure that X3 could. And James isnt a huge name, so if they are casting for a smaller role, then it would be no problem to get him

back to reality.

Bottom line... do you guys remember the curves that Bryan(HACK) threw at us. He filmed the last ten minutes of the movie two ways just so he could trick us. No one saw the phoenix in the lake coming. And if you read the Chris Claremont Novelization of X2 you will knwo that they re-wrote the ending two the movie, and i am uncertain about the comic book adaptation.

Already we have heard from Arad, and Vaughn (whos script is the latest one anyone could read) that Dark Phoenix will never be main character in these movies. and then we hear from someone else who "confirms" that Dark Phoenix is a huge part of it.

And anyone who followed the revenge of the sith, will know that they tried to throw you off with false plot points and story (yes even with a prequel you can make someone think you are screwing it up) and on Return of the Jedi, they were able to hide the production of it entirely.

I know that this isnt star wars, pending on the third one it could very well surpass it as far as story goes (very biased opinion here). Basically until we see footage of the film, We cant believe anything that is going on.

Now the latest rumor is that Fox hasnt optioned Cumming's contract which all i have to say is "yeah right!"

You can go to any site and there will be these week atempts to cover up the truth. I cant tell you how many times ive read that Metallica Guitarist Kirk Hammett has left the band, or that James Hetfield has died of an O.D. so basically if you dont see it happening, then dont buy it.

Be confident in that tehy care so much about this movie that tehy are trying to trick us.

Well, old man, I'm sure all of this discussion would get more attention in the appropriate threads that are already open. There's no need to have a brand new thread for this...

Sorry to be harsh, but this thread seems to be basically the equivalent of singing Happy Birthday to yourself....I apologize, but I'm finding it very hard not to mention that...
