so they say. What do you guys think of that and who do you think can play him. And if all you have to say is they shouldnt make a sequel... back that up, why not?

Well, all I know so far is that Thomas Jane is hoping to get Michael Keaton in the role of Jigsaw. The one thing they have to figure out, though, is how would they afford him.

Michael Keaton is actually a great choice for Jigsaw (the Punisher villain, not the SAW psycho). As for salary, I don't think Keaton is that expensive these days. The guy's career has been in a downward spiral since the Batman days, for reasons that still remain unclear. However, he's clearly looking for a comeback vehicle and he proved in White Noise that he's still a potent actor so this could be just what the doctor ordered.

Well, White Noise did open at number one at the box office, so I don't know if he feels like his paycheck should be bumped up a little. But, yeah Keaton would be good. Who knows, maybe it would do more for his comeback than White Noise or the upcoming Herbie: Fully Loaded. John Travolta's performance in The Punisher didn't hurt his career in any way.
I feel that this movie isnt that important...man i gatta get some punisher comics bcuz i hate punisher...he bores me...zZzZz...ok whos jigsaw?

I believe...correct me if I'm wrong. Jigsaw is John Travolta's Character who supposedly died. (In Film, and in comics.) Who comes back with a vengeance. Now...if I'm correct, Punisher really Didn't have many 'Villians'. Save like Jigsaw, Rapido, Bullseye. So, after he's done with Jigsaw...what then? They need to rethink this, add the Triad, or Yakuza. Hell, Add Bullseye. Those Punisher Vs. Bullseye comics were GREAT. Only person to realy freak Bullseye was Frank...said he had no conscience, no soul. Something like that. Anyway. They need to make a better list of villians for Punisher...in Comics, and in Film. Make something up guys, he just can't kill Drug Lords, and Gun Jockeys forever. Wait...yes he can.

Bio for Jigsaw. (http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/jigsawpu.htm)
As far as I know Howard Saint (John Travolta's character) was created specifically for the movie and never actually existed in the books.

I guess it was just the Game then. Cause in the Punisher Game...Jigsaw is Saint.

Actually, in the game, Jigsaw was Howard Saint's son, who, at the end of the movie, Punisher blew up.
And, Saint was in the Punisher comics, but I don't know which issue he was in, but I'm sure he didn't have anything to do with killing Punisher's family.
And true, because of the nature of his character, Punisher doesn't have a lot of arch-villains, however, his other meetings with other Marvel heroes are great, though. Especially with Daredevil and Wolverine.

Ah..I knew it was a Saint. And that is true, Punisher has fought just about every major Good Guy possible. DD, Spidey, Wolverine, Hulk, the list goes on. But you can't do a movie Crossover. Sucks, because I think a Hulk/Punisher crossover would resurrect Hulk Movies, and just add strength to a punisher movie.

So, after he's done with Jigsaw...what then?
That name..."Jigsaw"...Ok, so I've been up on the net searching info on Saw 2 and found out the villian there is also called "Jigsaw", well there's a good reason for that. But still isn't it funny that they have the same name? Just thinking...
On the topic of the Villian, I say keep Punisher 2 an adventure film where he searches for something and fights through stuff throughout his journey. Sounds familiar...hehe  .

I have seen some of the trailers and I think that they could have done a better job making Jigsaw look nastier. but that is just my opinion
