Gatta say this question is a big one on other superhero sites and its a first to see here.

Batman isnt a vamp but is a "bat" type guy...he looks like a big bat ok.

Blade is a vampire killer...and b4 the story was vampires turned into bats...blah blah blah yea i kno wierd connection with batman.

I vote Batman...for the fact that he's more fast and strong...but he's human.

Blade I feel can kill batman if he would want to but I just will go in denial and say batman wins...yes I hate the thought of a dead batman but lets forget that...

Man, that would be a good fight!

Speaking from the comics, I know that Batman whooped Punisher's ass, but I believe Bats was defeated by Daredevil, but he did beat Spawn, too, but barely. However, I haven't seen or heard Blade fighting any other heroes. But, in the movies, wow, don't know. If Batman was able to wear Blade down somehow, I'm guessing he might do it. But he go at him a couple of times to find out his weakness.

I'm guessing Blade would win the first couple of rounds. But, like Ali in "The Rumble in the Jungle", Batman would come out victorious.

Batman hands down. And DD beat Batman? I don't think so. Batman beats Superman in the comics, no way does he lose to Blade or DD.

I agree. Batman wouldn't lose to Daredevil. DC would never allow it. Batman (Bruce Wayne) has never lost any inter-company crossover.

Not against Daredevil.
Not against the Punisher.
Not against the Predator.
Not against Spawn.
Not against Grendel.
Not against Captain America.

I'm not saying he definitively won any of those (except for Punisher, Bruce handed Frank his head), but he sure as hell never LOST either.

Now, Batman vs. Wolverine ... there's a fight ... I'd have a hard time buying Bruce Wayne beating Jim Howlett one on one ... a savvy human martial artist with an arsenal of gadgets against a savvy mutant with a healing factor and unbreakable claws with fighting skills at least as good as his own?

Ah, I know DD beat Wolverine in one blow (Punch right to the adam's apple), but I wasn't too sure if DD beat Batman or not. I only heard about it, but if you guys got the crossover, I'd love to hear how it turned out. Prove me wrong, guys.

This would definitely be a good fight between Batman and Blade but I would have to go with Batman on this one.

I don't know... I think I'd have to hand it to Blade. Think about it. Batman can take on and take out, say, 12-20 men in a hand-to-hand fight. Blade, on the otherhand, can kill 12-20 superhuman vampires in a good fight.

I'd argue that a vampire is at least 5 times stronger than it was as a human, just based on the movies (probably even stronger), so Blade's tally would be equivalent to Batman taking out 60-100 men in a single fight... which he could never do. Heck, half the time, he ends up with Alfred's hands tying his guts back together after a good fight.

If Blade really wanted to, he could kill Batman easily. He's not stupid or a fool, even though he's shown mainly as a martial arts buttkicker, and his superhuman speed, agility and strength, plus his savagery, I believe, would give him the edge over Batman's genius. Batman's ability to blend into shadows wouldn't mean squat against someone who can not only see in the dark, but likely can also smell him and hear the blood pumping in his veins.

Martial arts skill-wise, they're likely a tie... but Batman's reluctance to kill would easily allow Blade to skewer him, especially if Batman did something stupid, like break his shades. :)

two words for ya:

Prep. Time.

Batman has enough of that, he can take down Galactus. And you know this.

Only if he had a Bat-Ultimate Nullifer in his back pocket. Which he doesn't. Winner: Galactus.

Batman isn't infallible or unstoppable. He was easily crippled by Bane and has the largest collection of scars in the DC Universe this side of Zsasz, which is testimony as to how many times he's let his guard down.

Assuming it's a one-on-one fight where neither Batman nor Blade knows any more about his opponent than the other, then Blade wins.

If you want to give Batman a crutch, where he has as much time as he wants to study his opponent beforehand, then fine. But I think that only proves my point.

That's only because Superman's a wuss and as gullible as Gomer Pyle. He could easily deep-fry Bats with his heat vision from the moon or rip his limbs off at super-speed, but he simply chooses not to do so. His morals and ethics are his greatest weakness against someone as Machiavellian as Batman.

I think everyone knows that Wesley Snipes himself could take Batman not to mention the vampire agility and awesome sword skills that come with bieng Blade. I think a more evenly matched fight would be Wesley Snipes in Demolition Man versus Batman. Snipes Rules!!!!

I got a better fight....
The Punisher vs. El Mariachi (El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico).

That would be a damn good fight.
