Just a personal doubt... why there are so many L's in Superman mythos...

Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, Lana Lang, Jor-El (Jor-L), Lara, etc. etc. etc. etc.

Don't know, but normally in fiction writing, you would avoid having two characters whose names begin with the same letter as it can be confusing to the reader. Obviously this breaks that rule completely.

and if we get into Smallville mythos it gets worse... Lionel Luthor, Lucas Luthor...

Just found this... check it out.

http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Chamber/8178/doblele.html

and found many, many other Superheros with double letters in their names... (i.e. Peter Parker, Scott Summers, and a very very long list that I'll write here but later... right now I'm going to sleep.... it is 4.14 A.M.

See ya!

I remember in a interview with stan lee having him say that to not forget the characters names he made them start with the same letter (sue storm, reed richards, peter parker, etc).

If they wait a few years they could have the red haired Lindsey Lohan play Lana Lang for a little double L irony.

If Superman were made in the 1960s, Martha Kent could've been played by Lotte Lenya (Colonel Rosa Klebb in From Russia With Love).
