View Full Version : The all new, possibly different Day of the Dead

So, it's been a little while since the initial anouncement and IMDB says that production was tenatively slated to begin last month, but I've heard nothing else. So, the question is: Is anyone looking forward to a remake of George Romero's Day of the Dead?

I admit, I am. Can't get enough of them zombies. Well, except maybe those crappy ones like House of the Dead 1 & 2, and that, um, Day of the Dead 2 which really doesn't deserve mention.

Now I can complete my remake trilogy! HA HA HA

For the record, the director for this film also did Friday the 13th parts 2 & 3, Lake Placid, and H20: Halloween (7). So, this might be a decent time killer on a Saturday afternoon.

As long as the zombies aren't those zombies-on-crack from the crappy remake of "Dawn of the Dead", then things will be just fine.

I Can't say that I'm looking foward to the remake, I didn't like the remake of 'Dawn'. But Tom Savini's Remake of 'Night' was right on! You're right, though. 'Land of the dead' was a total flop, I was expecting so much more from the great George Romero.

yeah, They've already said it's gonna have the running zombies in it. also ving rhaymes is in it, but he's gonna play the captain that goes crazy. Nick cannon as well is in it.that's right, nick cannon.

Nick cannon??? Interesting, Dont know how I feel about Ving playing 'capt crazy' The dude that played him in the original was sooooo perfect, i dont know if they can top his preformance.

i was in virgin records and i saw a video of day of the dead 2 contagion is it a good movie i did not want to waste good hard earned money on crap.

it's a homage but they can be good to maybe even better than superman. lol.:jump2: :dunno:
