Are coming at some point. Lucas said he was planning a live action show, and a cartoon show, and I was thinking that something might be coming this fall. There has been a lot of the sound of crickets since this was first announced, so I'm wondering what is really going on.

Believe he or Ricky said in an interview that they were planning 'the live action (100# episode) t.v. series for fall '08'
Said there going do it like the sucessful young Indy series with a lot of different talent . . .
At this point no one still really knows what it's going to be about? There have been rublinngs of Boba Fett being envolved , Jimmy Smits reprising his Role as His' Highness Organna. .
Also heard we might see a bit of ol' Luke and some of his early run-ins with Old Ben. . .

Hmmm... I always got the impression that Ben was a legend to Luke by ANH but that they had never crossed paths before. Most of what Luke knew of him was from Uncle Owen maligning him to try to keep Luke away from him.

:angry I still say the best idea would be to make the show about two young space pirates flying around the galaxy in their YT-1300 freighter with their furry friend tagging along. Maybe Han was involved with the Rebellion early on and he got burned at some point, thus explaining his reluctance to help out in ANH. This would be television gold. Tell me I'm wrong, I dare you.

If you're interested in Early Han, read the Han Solo Trilogy (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0553574159/qid=1144343217/sr=2-2/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_2/103-5106734-2458227?s=books&v=glance&n=283155)

I have Read it. The thing is all of that extended universe stuff doesn't count for squat when they're starting something in a new medium. I don't want to start a "canon" argument here but the fact is if it ain't on film it "hasn't happened." Lucas can and will (and has) ignore whatever he feels like has gone on in anything licensed by Lucasarts. Don't get me wrong, I love the books, comics other stuff butin that universe, Lucas is god and he can do with it as he pleases. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. :o
