Not quite as awesome as your Optimus pic, but still great. But then, your work always is! :D

I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of your Batman pieces because I feel like your linework is your greatest strength. That has been shown in full-force with these last two images. You have the rare gift of being able to convey powerful shapes with rough and inconsistent lines. You just...get it. You understand lighting to such a degree that it just feels indisputable in your drawings. Your work loses something to me when it doesnt have those deep black outlines, wild in their control. I guess those last few words define for me what it is that makes you great: your linework is wild and lose, but it always feel purposeful and in total control. Great work.

In the last few months of posting at SuperHeroHype and here, this has been the most constructive criticism I've ever gotten. I agree with you totally: when I try to draw pure line art that's tight, confined, and precise, I find myself flustered and uncomfortable. There's something about working with wild, fluid lines and "enclosing" the image in shadow that I find very natural, comfortable, and stylish. I wasn't very confident in my Batman work either because I still felt like my lines were too uptight... so thanks. I'm glad that someone agreed with my own sentiment.

This is truly sweet. I totally agree with Essex on this one.

The rough linework on this totally works for the image on this one. The fluctuation of line width helps give this piece a more grungy/distressed and stronger overall than standard consistent lines would.

A beautiful piece
