Vampire Hunter D novels now available in English

Wasn't really sure if I should post this here or in Novel Ideas, but I figured this forum is probably more appropriate.
Anyway Hideyuki Kikuchi's Vampire Hunter D novels are now being published in english and are available in America. I found the first two at B&N today and it looks like they're going to be doing the entire series.
Just thought I'd mention it.

I bought two, haven't read them yet. I am a Amano zombie, so I had to get them at least for the illustrations. I hope to get to them eventually.

Well, I've almost finished the first one and I have to say, as much as I enjoyed the movie, I like the book more. The story seems to flow a little better, characters are more defined and interesting and there's more detailed information about the history of the world and why things are the way they are.

I heard there's a video game on this anime. Is that true? Because I heard from alot of sites that this is a really good story. I'm still thinking on getting the book but right now dont have the time.

There's a PS1 Vampire Hunter D game. It's pretty good and Resident Evil like. Haven't played too much of it.
