...yeah, i called ya fat--look at me i'm skinny.

Now that we've had our Digital underground fix for the day...

So, I decided to come around so you guys don't forget who I am. I've miss y'all! I know it's been a while but I've been so busy with my new job. Some know I started with a different company in January and it's been non-stop traveling which takes away from my cinescape time. :(

Let me go ahead and congratulate Traz again on the offspring and recommend getting rid of the silk boxers if you want to stop at four. Happy Birthday to everyone I've missed. Much love to all of you, you know I think you all rock. Especially, Jake, grrr.

I posted that I'm on myspace now, so I hope you'll stop by and check up on me once in awhile. I'm trying to get caught up with this stuff, although, it does make one wonder if anyone reads the stupid thing anyway. If nothing else, I can always count on Ang. :)

I'm car shopping, guys, which is nerve wracking, to say the least. Anybody who has recommendations or horror stories about mid-sized SUV purchases, let me know. I'm looking at either the warranty-laden Hyundai Tucson or the new-to-me Mercury Mariner. And before anyone says anything, I know the Rav-4 and CRV are better, but those Toyota and Honda people seem to be extremely proud of those things so they can keep them.

I got a cool-ass phone recently that I still don't know how to work completely. It's a PocketPC by Audiovox. If anyone can tell me how to get my Exchange email to forward to it without having a terminal logged in all the time I'll buy you a present.

Adam54 is coming to visit soon to check out Columbia and USC and I'm excited. I haven't met any posters since Outsydr last year. Btw, is Yuma on fire again?

Well, I'm going to be around a little more the next day or so, SOOOO, if you guys have a chance say hi or email me for goodness sake, I miss hearing from you!

--much love, sweetpeas...take care--

Hey girl! 'Bout time you got yourself back in here.
And leave it to you to put that Digital Underground beat in my head now.

"Do the humpty-hump!" :D

Nat is back! And the estrogen level in here increases exponentially (as do the testosterone levels of the fellas in here, but you can't have everything). It's nice to hear from a familiar poster--drop by when you can.

I'm car shopping, guys, which is nerve wracking, to say the least. Anybody who has recommendations or horror stories about mid-sized SUV purchases, let me know. My lease recently ended on a Buick Rendezvous, which I really really liked. It's a smaller SUV, and since it's built on a car platform it handles very well--much more like a car than a truck, with nice, smooth steering. Since we decided to buy rather than lease my current vehicle, I went cheaper with the Chevy Equinox. It's nice enough--and the snazzy laser blue color is to die for--but it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Rendezvous. The Rendezvous sits a little higher and also got a little better mileage on the hwy; I'm getting 21.5 mpg with the Equinox but got close to 23 with the Rendezvous. They both get about 20 with city driving, though. If I had to make the choice again, I'd get another Rendezvous over the Equinox.

Picking an SUV depends on what you want to get out of it. Mr. Neglet drives a smaller car (G6), so we like having a second vehicle with enough room to carry big stuff from the lumber yard or take us on a week-long camping trip. But I don't like driving the huge SUVs--I like to be able to see around the back and park without squeezing into spaces, so the smaller ones are just right for me. But if you're not tied to a specific brand (like we are, Mr. Neglet works for a car company), test drive a whole bunch. And have fun doing it--remember, it's shopping! (It's just the paying that's a bitch.:ohwell: )

Natalie is Queen O' the Sweetpeas! Bow to her!
:jump2:

She's a poster from South Carolina that many here know
from way back when Coming Attractions had their bulletin board
before it was shut down, which led to many to be migrated/herded
over here to Cinescape. She's cool. She LOVES Nascar. And she's
a mean pool player.

Just don't ask her what sweet tarts taste like.

Nat! Miss having you around.

I almost feel like reminising about our Round Table emails.

You were on the old boards Elda? Were you always Eldarion or were you someone else? If you say "Romy," we will kill you.

Just *had* to go and make that public, didn't ya Nat? :p I was gladly going to do so after the fact, of course, but now Bokchoi will be on my ass for a picture for the next two weeks straight.

Thanks darlin, thank you so much.

See, now if we had a good picture of you, we could actually photoshop Boki "on your ass." :smirks:

Ryan Stiles hops over to this board and says:

I wonder how Ryan feels about people who can't tell the difference between "their," "there," and "they're." :smirks:
