Another underappreciated gem of a film in my opinion is "They Live." I watched it again last night, and it has a lot to say about a lot of things. The whole plot is truly fascinating and although the actual cinematic execution in some places could have used some propping up, the movie suggests that there are some elements of our society that under the surface are really essentially evil, but we accept them as part of our structure and turn a blind eye to the negative effect they have on all of us.
