CG Animation at its Best!!!

I just watched the Japanese version of the Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children movie. It was amazing! Anyone else seen it?

I heard at work that the English version comes out on April 25th.The movie was screened at the Venice Film Festival and is HUGELY popular in Japan. I'm thinking about buying the dvd. Anyone else have a downloaded copy or plan on buying it?

Jayce, just because you don't like it (ie. don't know about it) doesn't mean you have to be a douche.


The animation and the graphics look kick-ass, and I've heard that the story is pretty kickin too. I have the Japanese version floating around somewhere on my ipod or my computer, I just haven't gotten around to watching it.

The story picks up where the Final Fantasy 7 game leaves off but you definitely don't have to be familiar with the story to enjoy the movie.

Yeah the graphics really are amazing and the attention to detail is intense. You've never seen anything like it.

The Japanese version is good but I can't wait to buy the English version so I don't have to read the subtitles and I can pay better attention to the overall visual beauty of the movie.
