From the earlier "drink" post, I got an idea for us to have some fun with recipes. The more, uh, "creative :)," the better.
Here is one to start with:
FOREST GUMBO:
12 Pine cones
12 oz's of Termites
1 gallon water
1 lb of leaves, any (be careful here :))
1 lb of meat (any forest animal you can catch, you might want to avoid skunks, though. Just a thought :))
1/2 lb of mushrooms, any you can find (I hear the red ones with the white speckles are real good, :))
1/2 lb of worms
6 oz of loam (to taste)
6 oz of dirt (to taste)
Mix all ingredients into large pot and simmer over a fire for 3-4 hours, or until pine cones are fully tenderized.
Garnish with pine needles to taste
After eating you will come to have a true understanding of the term: "explosive diarrhea." And probably some other things as well but we won't go there . . . :)
