usually. Not today.
During the week I get up at 5:45am everyday to get my kid to school and get me to work on time and somewhat awake. I look forward to Saturday mornings because the alarm doesn't go off. I get to sleep in, even if I wake up at 7:30 or 8:00, I've gotten a few extra hours of sleep. Always a good thing.
But not so this Saturday.
I have a wireless doorbell that I installed when I bought my house 6 years ago. It has been functioning perfectly until just recently. Someone close by uses some kind of device that is on the same frequency as my doorbell. Periodically, mostly in the afternoon or early evening, it will ring and no one will be at the door. It's annoying, but really no big deal... usually.
Bright and early this morning at 6:22 it rang... twice.
When I heard it the first time, I just assumed that it was a fluke. But the second time, I thought that someone may actually be out there and in some kind of trouble. So, I got up and put something on and stumbled blindly to the door. Of course, there was no one on the porch or any where around. Dammit!! :angry
Well, now I'm awake and not going back to sleep, so I'm up drinking my coffee and posting. Maybe Sunday will be a better morning.
