The Batman forum seems to be focused on casting rumors and ToM's rants so I thought we could use a new thread to distract us for a little while. Cast your vote and debate!

My vote was for Murphy's Scarecrow by the way. And I was going to add another choice, Director from hell-Shumacher, but it said that was too many poll options.

For me it was a tie between Falcone and Riddler. I loved them both as villians for Batman but I had to go foward with Riddler. Carrey was a really good version of Riddler and I had to vote for him. The movie itself that had Riddler wasn't good but the character had that fun of being crazy with danger but smart as well. Kind of like Joker, when you think about it. 8)

My vote goes to Michelle's Catwoman. She wasn't really a villain but she wasn't a good guy either. And the way she played her was so perfect for what the character was.

Hey, do you think if they made a Catwoman movie after that movie featuring her, would it be a better one than Berry's Catwoman? :?

I don't have a final decision on that but I would expect it to be a good spin-off for her to be a solo character and at least feature her as a villian becoming a good guy. And it would have been a great chance to feature a villian of Catwoman...even though I don't know any.

If they had Tim Burton directing, I think it would be.

Never seen the Berry Catwoman but I think they could have easily done better with a Phiefer spin-off from what I've heard of Berry's.

Oooh, tough one. Either Nicholson's Joker, DeVito's Penguin, Carrey's Riddler, or Murphy's Scarecrow. That's the thing, a lot of times, the villains from the Batman films are so good that it's tough to decide which is better. Hmmm, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman Begins. Am I missing one?

I was a tie between Murphy's scarecrow and NIcholson's Joker... I chose Scarecrow though.

Put me down for the Catwoman. Nicholson was sublime as Joker and Devito was disgustingly mesmerizing as Penguin but Pfieffer blows doors off every portrayal before and after her in the Batman series. Carrey was good as the Riddler but that performance hasn't stood the test of time and the less said about Jones, HamNEgger, and Thurman the better. The cast of rogues from Batman Begins was great but it was more an ensemble than anything with no real villain standing out for me including Murphy's Scarecrow and Neeson's Al Ghul/Ducard.

How radical is that? The villains in a Batman movie actually took a backseat to the Bat. People might start to wonder

Well, I agree that Jones and "HamNEgger" we could do without, but I wouldn't mind seeing Uma reprise her role as Ivy. Again, for what the movie was, she did a great job in scenes where it was just her, but the cheesiness factor of her co-stars was too much for her to cover up.

Just glad that the late Jeep Swenson wasn't in the poll.(Jeep played Bane in B&R). I would like to give honorable mention to a Shaman-esque Don 'The Dragon' Wilson in 'Batman Forever'- although his character is just 'the gang leader' in the credits.

My vote went to Ras.
