Each week I am going to list one film that I recommend as, if not required viewing, at least something that should be seen by anyone interested in movies and movie making. I'm going for the more obscure and not obvious choices.
This week's gem:
"Happy Accidents"
Year of release: 2000
Stars: Marisa Tomei and Vincent D'Onofrio
Directed by: Brad Anderson
This movie is an absolute rarity, a "chick flick" that is also a "guy flick." I mean, relationship issues mixed with time travelling? What more could you want? I was stunned when I saw this movie on cable not too long ago. Just a fantastic story and the execution is brilliant. Tomei and D'Onofrio are terrific here.
