Anyone else been watching this short-run series? It stars Andre Braugher as a con who's trying to pull off one last big score; at the same time his wife has been killed and he's trying to deal with his cranky teenage stepdaughter. Oh, and a dirty cop and the Chinese mob are after him. I've seen the first four episodes (episode 5 airs tonight, and the finale is next week), and this is a really excellent show--very intense, and Braugher is absolutely wonderful.
I love the idea of the six-part series, because it doesn't require a huge investment of time like a new network show might involve (or a miniseries over a few nights), but we get more detail than in a two-hour movie. It will be interesting to see if they extend it into a more regular series, as USA did with "The 4400."
