For weeks I have had to sit idly by and watch the circle-jerk that the Cinescape board had become, with the inane and mindless back and forth, Romy-the-the-end-of-CA-style, conversations the privledged few who could post were having.

Images.

It is like Jakester not playing with himself for a few hours: there is an urgent need to spew something forth.

Graphics.

It is like Neglet thinking about volunteering in her kid's school so she would have access to people with poor grammar that could be whacked with the Grammar Paddle.

Pictures.

Gotta photoshop........thats it.....neeeeeed to mess with pixels.......yeah, layers and layers and layers.......oooooh......brightness and contrast....cut and paste....yesssssss, my precious......heh......we wants it......we needs it......

Sorry, we cleaned up the server and that picture's gone. Besides, I am sure Boki's got it saved locally.

Jarrod, I used the little Yellow Bus to smack Jacksparrow last year....need something new....but I will consider it.

Luke, all I see is a red -x thanks to the webaccess software on my company workstation. If you send that pic over to a Photobucket spot, I should be able to see it and use it.

Yeah, I can see it now. The reason for the red-x is the stupid way our IS staff set up the web filter. It follows no rhyme or reason.

My focus, I guess, when I made this thread was my amazement that there was little real discussion on the board to cull material from. I was only seeing the inane time-filler threads such as 'Two Word Story" and "User Above You", where there was not a single bit of wit being tossed around that merited illustration, just schoolyard posturing and patter.

While driving home I was listening to NPR and they had the congressional hearings on the NSA wiretaps that bush authorized. It was basically one side asking accusatory questions that might not be possible to answer and the other side spoon feeding questions to the Attorney General like (and I'm paraphrasing) "Isn't it true the president is really smart to do this?"

I thought I left high school behind 20+ years ago. These people are the hope of our nation?

One thing you may want to know about this place, Fly, is the penchant for threads to quickly devolve into discussions about:

1. Politics

2. Sex

Pretty much just about everything, if given a long enough posting run, will end up in either or both of these topics of discussion. So throwing a question about politics to the great unwashed masses here is usually feeding time at the zoo.

As for me, to answer the question, I would like to see a battle between Connie Rice and Hillary Clinton.

Well this is an old picture as my daughter turned 13 months old yesterday but I'm like those people on whatever commercial it is with everyone frozen in the digital camera. I haven't downloaded any of my Halloween, Christmas or New Year's pics yet so this will have to do. I guess that's the downside to having a big memory card.
