Loooove the back story. Sorry, I'm such a sucker for them. Yours is great, hanging on that pivotal moment in the comics....
Also down with the art....this is a great example of 'less is more' or how simplifing something can make it so much more dramatic. Very well done, I esp thing the web in the background elevates it, and how that contrasts with the brighter red line...
blah, blah, pretty sweet!
Thanks WWG! I'm glad the simplistic look of the picture works. Obviously, I did this kind of quickly, but I tried to make it look similar to Tim Sale's art. Not necessarily how he draws things, but just how simply colored they tend to be.

Simple. Clean. And perfect.
And it does very much have a Tim Sale feel to it.
Please do more of these.

that's awesome you little trouser ferret! love the contrast of light and dark and the subtle smoky hints behind Spider's body.

Great image. Neat redesign Zac. The colours are great. The sleek style is beautifully realised. I love the fading web pattern as the backdrop. Cool backstory too. On the other hand man, I hate the font.

The drawing is simply amazing. Anyone who is here knows the story of Peter Parker like the back of their hand so that seemed a bit much. bUt the drawing...MAGNIFICO. I have always envied people who could make
relatively few lines and shadows say so much. Sort of like Hitchcock used to do.
Keep it coming!
