Epic fail Mr. Hammer, epic fail.
|
"I would spend hours training with actual guns to prepare me for this stuff," Hammer said.
What has two thumbs and is dicing out of the way to avoid the fan-boy barrage heading toward that idiot... THIS GUY! -Dork |
Guns and a large cod piece? Sounds like the type of Batman that creators and fans alike either laugh or cry over.
|
A 6ft5 athletic guy in a Weta made Batman costume?
I don't know if it would have been so laughable. |
Could just be gas guns, cable guns etc. Movie Batman hasn't THROWN anything worth mentioning in decades. Quite a world away from that John Byrne sequence just after the 80s reboot where Bats wrist-flicks a plain batarang from behind his back, out a penthouse window, over the top, through the opposite window and into the Joker's head. SO plausible.
What's my point, here? God, I'm gettin' old..... |
If DC could get this out with Routh as Superman before Avengers gets out they would own the superhero market, key is traditional costumes not dark or black leather costumes or glorified warmup suits. Most of all a writer who has READ a Justice League comic.
|
Really, they missed a train with the Justice League movie. They could have "repositioned" Brandon Routh as a badass Superman, who kicks the ass of Omacs, Wonder Woman and Batman and in the meantime introduce to the general public Green Lantern, Flash and Martian Manhunter for future spin-off.
Anyway, someone should leak the photos of the cast in costumes. |
"A 6ft5 athletic guy in a Weta made Batman costume?
I don't know if it would have been so laughable." *Yawn* A shitty movie with a strong guy in a cool Batman costume is still a shitty movie. Nothing about the Justice League film impressed me and I'm glad it's shelved for the time being. I don't think they missed the train. I think it's a good idea to wait on this one. It's more important to get a good film out than to beat Marvel to the punch. Justice League is a step up from Avengers anyway. So what if it comes out later? Infact DC should follow in Marvel's footsteps for a while and crank out some more individual superhero films before trying to introduce them all at once in Justice League. Shelving JL and starting up GL is a good idea. Marvel's kicking ass on screen. They've paved a decent trail for comic films. No shame in following suit. At least for a while. One place where DC has a good chance at being original, they should put out the very first female superhero film that doesn't absolutely suck. They messed up with Catwoman and Marvel also messed up with Elektra. If DC could introduce Wonder Woman in a film and make it good, it would be, at least a good time, at most revolutionary. I think Wonder Woman deserves to be in a film with the scope of the new Superman or Batman films. |
However, I'm with Antonello. I wanna see some leaked photos of the cotumes.
