So Hellboy II comes out this Friday. What did you think of it?

I got a chance to go to a press screening last night. This movie is pretty impressive. The story is pretty engaging and the visuals are magnificent. It's not flawless, but it is quite good. There's more a fantasy feel to this one than the first, but it works well. The opening scene with a young kid Hellboy was weird, but I think that was just because seeing a kid in Hellboy makeup was strange. But after that, everything is good or fantastic. If you liked the first Hellboy, I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy this one as well.
