Yup, we're still updating, twice a week, on Thursday and Sunday evenings. (And when the queue's in particularly good shape, on the odd Tuesday). How many images you want to upload is entirely up to you, but you may want to keep in mind that they'll be approved for display at a rate of 2 or at most 3 per week. And you probably don't have to worry about whether it'll be approved; comics-style line art virtually always is unless unless it makes use of someone else's work and the original artist isn't given credit, which doesn't sound like it'll be an issue in your case. Or if it involves gratuitous nudity.
