Do you want to know why they haven\'t made a Spawn movie since the first one came out TEN YEARS ago...because it sucked ass! It was quite simply garbage.
Now McFarlane and his humongous ego are attempting to re-boot the \'franchise\' by making a movie where the character is hardly seen or doesn\'t speak a word. I was fooled once when I paid to see this film the first time...I won\'t be fooled again. |

I just read the full article with Todd\'s description of the movie and it literally makes no sense. Spawn doesn\'t talk or do anything. He literally is something in the shadows that appears every so often to make the audience--as Todd put it--go \"What the hell was that?\" It sounds like a waste of film to me.

Ah spawn, the big guns, big capes, demonic powers, and the cheesy melodramatic thin story lines and mythos. The only way spawn could work is if Todd Mcfarlane wasn\'t involved in making it. Spawn in any other media besides comics and the animated show, hasn\'t worked. Spawn is a character deeply rooted in the 90\'s that wouldn\'t translate well to anything going on today.

you guys are simply haters Spawn was great especially John Leguizamo as the Clown, put it this way save alot of money which will take most years, get a film crew, lets all not forget you have to publish, and lisence etc etc folks. pay the actors, screen writers etc etc well Todd did just that, and to prove a point till this day ive seen people buy the first live action movie and were in 2008 tsk tsk I say Todd make the sequel and shut these people up.
