At the suggestion of B, and Shade The Mystic, I have been encouraged to solicit brave voulunteers to participate in a DCG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme day.

Since the "new" DCG updates according to B are twice a week now (Sundays and Thursdays) I'm taking that into consideration. So here is the proposal:

Mark your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles submissions:

***TMNT and have them submitted in the queue by Thursday,March 22nd.

I know this is rather short notice, but I'm also operating on some small grain of faith that a few folks are prepping something anyway.

Submissions can be regarding any character or characters within the Turtles universe, or favorite anthropomorphic (animal-people) characters, such as the ones Zac suggested below. If the latter has no Turtles, mark them ***anthro. The queue isn't too huge right now; the more the merrier.

Good ideas for Theme Days - one suggestion though is you broaden the rules of what the theme day allows, as I've found in the past that's the best way to get participation.

For instance, back when Terminator 3 came out, we did a theme day for people to manip robot comic book characters (as opposed to JUST Terminator pics). Maybe for TMNT day, you can have people do manips of their favorite anthropomorphic (animal-people) characters. Then, they can not-only do the Turtles, but maybe the Street Sharks, Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew, Bucky O'Hare, Spider-Ham, etc.

ps: would the TMNT count toward our annual Green Day theme day in accordance to St Patty's?

Since, I've done the turtles before and love them and most animal-type characters of this sort I'll see if I can get something done in time for the deadline.

from now on, i make no promises. theres a tmnt image i've been working on, but who the heck knows when it's gonna see the light of day. sorry guys.
