So, I was thinking of a lot of things, but I really like superhero movies, (who doesn't?) so I thought I'd try this topic (again) and see if anyone can dig it...

Moon Knight:
So yeah, there's a TV series in the works, but you know what? Damn the torpedoes, I'm still gonna picture it

Cast:
Moon Knight/Marc Spector: Quite possibly one of my favorite comic characters, today. I want Spector to be played by someone who can sell crazy, and someone who can be edgy, and someone who you can see as being on the brink of losing it. That's why my choice would have to be Brad Pitt. The guy had done some terrific performances in movies like Fight Club and 12 Monkeys, so you know he can do crazy. Plus, he's got the right body type and the star power to pull it off. Hopefully, he can also do a full faced mask. Sure, he will have plenty of face-time cause of the story I want (More on that later), but hopefully he'll welcome the trade off of being in an awesome costume.

Jean-Paul Duchamp, aka "Frenchie": So, I can't find a picture of him anywhere, but I know who I want to play him, still. I imagine Frenchie to be a very suave, smooth character. A real "ladies' man" (but we all know different now). I'd imagine him be a range of charming, dangerous, and secretive. And I'd like Jude Law to play him. Even though he is kinda big right now, I think he'd be comfortable playing a supporting character if he were written well enough (He didn't even show his face in another supporting role in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events)

Marlene Alarune: For Marlene, I want a lot of things. Basically beauty and brawn in one package. Who better for that than the chick who beat the holy hell outta Marv from Sin City? I think Jamie King would be perfect. She'd be the total package of gorgeousness, toughness, and um, smartness.

Raoul Bushman/Khonshu: For the nemesis, Bushman, I want someone physically imposing, and portray someone ruthless and cruel. I also want to see him actually fighting (unlike Michael Clarke Duncan in Daredevil, who moved with the grace of a wounded elephant). I also want to see someone who can play as the Egyptian god of Vengeance, Knonshu with the kind of manic energy as he is currently seen as in the new Moon Knight series by Charlie Huston. I think the guy who'd be up for the challenge would be "Tiny" Tommy Lister. The guy is just that, imposing. Plus he's also ventured into comedy, and had a supporting role in The Fifth Element, so I think he can bring that energy to Khonshu. Plus he was a wrestler at one point, so he can fight, or pretend to.

Story:
First off, I think Moonie would work as an R rated movie. You don't want to make the same mistake as Daredevil or Elektra, and make a more mature themed character appear more family audience friendly. The story (an origin story at that), follows Marc, a well traveled mercenary and soldier of fortune, being sought out by the Commitee to stop a rather distressing discovery being made by an archaeologist named Dr. Alarune. After being tepted by a hefty sum of money, Spector agrees and travels to Egypt, where he meets his partners, Duchamp and Bushman. While planning their raid, Frenchie and Spector become friends while they grow weary of Bushman and his treatment to his men. They are basically lead to believe that the site is well guarded by other mercs, and are instructed to terminate with extreme prejudice, and they do, until Spector realizes that they aren't any real threats to them and refuses to kill Marlene and her father, Dr. Alarune. So, Spector and Frenchie try to rescue Marlene and her father from Bushman's attack. Unfortunately, Spector is killed alongside Dr. Alarune inside the temple, at the base of the statue of Khonshu. Sensing Spector's talents as a fighter and uneasy soul (due to his past of killing for money) Khonshu resurrects Spector and offers him redemption and vengeance. Spector agrees, and becomes the Moon Knight. After a while, Spector finds Bushman just as he successfully overthrew the government of a small, unstable African nation. After a long and bloody battle with Bushman, Spector slices off his face and offers it to Khonshu as a prize. The Moon God is pleased, and orders Spector to spread his name in his homeland of America. Spector reluctanly agrees, and returns home and sets up a new identity as millionaire Steven Grant. Unable to rest, due to his memories as Marc Spector, the mercenary, and his new god's demands for vengeance and fear, Spector seeks out Frenchie for help and guidance. Soon they take advantage of Spector's new abilities and create Moon Knight's adamantium armor and Moon Copter. They then decide to exact their revenge on the Commitee (which Spector finds more about as Jake Lockley).
Well, Spector has a mental breakdown, in which he is finally saved by the appearance of Marlene.
That's what I got so far... Long ass story, huh?
Sounds good?

Well, it's quite a tall order that you've got there for a Moon Knight feature. I mean, I was a little surprised that you classified Jude Law as right now being somewhat hot (meaning can they get him), and yet thinking that getting Brad Pitt would be easier. I think you'd probably, quite frankly, get more of a chance of getting a Moon Knight feature off the ground if you offered the title role to Law not Pitt. Only because I think Pitt's really the hotter of the 2 at the moment, and you know that if the script idea that you put forth is something that Law would like MORE so than Pitt, you'd be able to have a better chance of getting it made. That's not to say that Pitt wouldn't want to do a superhero film and that he wouldn't want to portray Moon Knight/Marc Spector, based on your script idea. But Pitt has got his own successfull production co. going, he's with the hottest woman on the planet.........I just think you'd have a better shot of getting a Jude Law to be your Moon Knight than a Brad Pitt. Pitt's got more on his plate, I'm sure, right now than Law does. Although, hey, I could be wrong about that.

Well, Law was my second choice, but I liked Pitt based on his work on Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, Se7en, and Snatch.

Either way, I don't have any real hopes for a Moon Knight feature (TV show might get in the way), the story, and the cast. I'm just having fun with it.

PS, for a Moon Knight TV show, I think George Eads (Nick Stokes from the show CSI: would be a cool choice).
