Default Help!!!!

I am about to go insane. I cannot get this message board to remember my user name and password. Some time yesterday, all of a sudden every website I have to login to, refuses to remember me, and I am being forced to login to everything, everytime I go there. I have spent the past 12 FREAKING HOURS, trying to fix this, and I just can't. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm assuming this occurs despite checking the box to remember your name with? Did you try restoring your browser settings?

If it happens on every site you are on, I agree with Taz, it's probably a browser setting that changed somehow, maybe because of an update/upgrade? Is your browser set to accept cookies?

I would agree with Monic who agrees with Trazalca.

Did you recently get a update? Do you have Windows Xp? Monthly updates can wreck havoc on your browser settings.

If you have Firefox Mozilla, you will never have to log into these forums again, whether you close out your browser or not. It remembers you everytime.***unless you log into the Harry Potter or Phenomena community***

I agree with DJ who agrees with Monic who agrees with Traz. They sound like they know what they're talking about.

And I agree with DJ on the Firefox suggestion. That thing remembers
logins like nobody's business! A nifty browser, a long lost son of Netscape,
but with the same oomph.

I seem to have fixed it, but I still can't get this site to remember my login. I uninstalled my browser, and am using IE 6.0 instead of 7.0 now. Microsoft was absolutely beyond belief as to how unhelpful they were with this. I am truly beginning to despise them.
