Default Commercials that MAKE NO SENSE!

Ok, we've covered the good and the bad, how about the moronic?

On this morning's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," which I had recorded, there was a commercial for a product called "Head On." I recorded this show, and I've watched this commercial twice, so I'm not just imagining this.

The commercial began with a scene showing a woman with some kind of applicator in her hand, and she was rubbing her forehead with the applicator. The announcer said only: "Head On, apply directly to the forehead," repeated 3 times. The commercial then cut to a scene showing a package (like a something a tube of glue would come in), labeled only "Head On," and the announcer said "available without prescription from retailers nationwide." And then the commercial ended.

There was never any statement, or anything at all, shown that explained WHAT THIS PRODUCT IS USED FOR! OR, WHY IT SHOULD BE APPLIED TO THE FOREHEAD!

Did anyone else see this?

It's a topical analgesic (ie. aspirin) that's absorbed through the skin. It was big in Japan and Europe in the early 90's and finally passed through the FDA here.

I immediately thought of the Levitra commercial that came out a while ago, where the middle-aged man was throwing a football through a tire swing. They never said anything about the product at all. It was months later, through an email, that I found out it was for erectile disfunction.
