Creepshow remake

Just read that this film is going to be remade, which is supposed to be rewritten by king himself. Well, you know how these rumors are, so im sure things are gonna change.

But this actually sounds pretty cool, i own both of the films on DVD and get a kick out of them. I really enjoyed the 2nd more so then the 1st, so this being remade does not bother me one bit. If anything, they should just make a whole new installment to the series instead of 'remaking' this. Hell, it being remade is pretty much saying it will not likely have anything to do with the first, especially since all of them were just short stories anyhow.

I hated the second one with a passion... i think it was the wooden indian that was laughably stupid or the tar pit creature that was basically a black garbage bag floating on top of the water that killed people ALA Tasha Yar style..... blecch.

yup you can bet they arent going to "remake" all those short stories either... hopefully its just cause a true "Creepshow PART III" wouldnt make any money for the studio.

Creepshow should be good and any chance of Romero and King teaming back up would be pretty fun!

Sounds like another installment minus the Part 3 part. I can't imagine them doing the same stories. Maybe a re-imagining? Anyway, anthology films don't usually work for me. Not enough time to really connect with the characters or feel and real sense of dread for them. Usually, I just watch for the death scenes.
