No Mommy-Daddy time? Awww....

 I read this blurb out to my wife over the phone, and she said it was cute.  From IMDB.com- Jolie and Pitt Struggle With Parenthood Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are struggling to cope with the pressures of raising four young children - and admit parenthood is taking its toll on their relationship. The couple, parents to five-year-old Maddox, three-year-old Pax, two-year-old Zahara and one-year-old Shiloh, concede the strain of parenting means they don't spend enough time together. Jolie says, "Mommy and Daddy need to try to figure out more time right now. Everybody needs individual time. Shiloh has our attention when the others are at school. Mad (Maddox) stays up the latest, so he gets the night time. During the day, I'll go for a walk or do something specific with Pax or Z (Zahara). We're working on it. Right now, we're not great about Mommy-and-Daddy time." Our kids are 6, 4, 2, & 1. As much as I can relate and TOTALLY sympathize, I have to admit to putting up with the very same issue. Then again, Brangelina can AFFORD kid care and babysitters galore! Where we are, we have trouble FINDING a reliable babysitter. I will say that this is all part of earning your parenting stripes. It's a part of life. Sure it sucks, but there are many parents that have made the best of their situations and do all right. I just hope they're not surprised by this. :OhWell:

Given the amount of disdain I have for these people, it would be inapproprite for me to respond in a manner that would satisfy my desired expression. Suffice it to say, I extend this sentiment to the Pitt - Jolie family for their woes.
 I work full days out on the road every single day. My wife stays home with a 9, 8, 4, 2 and 7 mo olds. |
