Well, I'm not particular for remakes. I screamed to high heaven when they announced remaking Hitchcock's Pyscho( a true classic).
However, Donner's The Omen is one of my favorite movies of all time from this genre and the new teasers of the remake coming out 6.6.06 are enticing me enough to go buy a 8 dollar ticket for it. If done right, it may be worth it. There are a few movies that I say that Hollywood should never remake...Pyscho is one......Halloween, Carpenter's The Thing(irony it being a remake) & Nightmare on Elm Street being a couple more off limits selections. |
