The Phantom Millenium
Wasn't sure where else to post this, so I just created a new thread.
One of the best Star Wars parodies I've ever seen is done by the British female comedy team French and Saunders, who do some of the best movie parodies I've ever seen (you can get their DVD's at Barnes and Noble for like 15 bucks apiece, there's 6 in all). Jennifer Saunders is the creator and star of Absolutely Fabulous, and Dawn French was the Fat Lady in the Painting in Harry Potter and the CoS. On the DVD French and Saunders: At the Movies, there's an extra special where they do Star Wars: The Phantom Millenium, interspersed with other sketches, but the SW Ep 1 parody is the main thing. It's friggin hilarious! Saunders plays Qui Gon, French plays Toby Jugs Kenobi, Queen Amidala and Yoda, John Inman (the effiminate salesman in Are You Being Served?) plays Senator Palpatation, and Jeanette Krankie plays Anadin Skywalker. I highly recommend it! There's some pics here.
