Post Feast - a limited run?

I just read this at SciFi news. Kinda sucks if you asked me.

Feast Opens In Select Towns

Feast, a horror movie whose production was chronicled in the TV series Project Greenlight, opens Sept. 22 and 23 with special late-night screenings in select cities, including Los Angeles. The limited theatrical run will be followed by a DVD release on Oct. 17.

Directed by Project Greenlight winner and first-time filmmaker John Gulager, Feast follows a motley crew of strangers who find themselves trapped in an isolated tavern and must band together in a battle for survival against a family of flesh-hungry creatures.

The ensemble cast includes Balthazar Getty, Henry Rollins, Navi Rawat, Josh Zuckerman, Judah Friedlander, Jason Mewes, Jenny Wade and Krista Allen.

So, everything that was touted about in the season finale of the PG series
about the making of this film was a freakin' smokescreen. The decision from
the studio to give this film such a paltry and weak push says a lot
about just how much BS goes on from producers and execs in filmmaking.
The series ended as if FEAST was the next Evil Dead.
So much for the careers of the writers and director.
