Likely a superhero DVD or 2, or 1 video game of your choice. As I don’t know the exact date of the finals, I’m not giving specifics on that. If we get done and Xmen 3 is on DVD, and you want that then there you go. Same goes with the video games, it’s all dependant on the timing.

Congrats to the winners, and my apologies to the few that I sent the wrong totals too. I did not clear an entry in the calculator and sent out the wrong totals to a few people. I double checked it all again, and these are the correct totals and scores. Again, my apologies...I should have proofed my numbers and sorry that I have added some possible confusion to everything.

With all of that out of the way...congrats to Kevincal and Effy for taking the top two spots. I think any artist here could have taken first place with the quality of images being put out by everyone. I thank all of you who competed in this contest, and thank I also thank you for taking time out of your schedules to put out some killer work. Congrats to everyone.

I think that sounds like an awesome contest. It would be challenge for me and I think I'd lose right away but I would be really interested to see the art that would come out of this.

I would vote the all artist free for all approach, instead of having the big prize come down to manip vs. other art form.

And I'd enter, because my wacom bit the dust last x-mas in a nasty curling iron/southern comfort and egg nog ....mishap. :cry:

and I concur with WWG- every artist for themselves rather than have the tow "brands" compete separately... if nothing else, we can't guarantee that there would be right number of each type of artist to allow such brackets!

But yeah... I won't win but I'll sure as heck try

i'm in if this goes on. i need something to push my more, and a little, or rather BIG competition pushes me like nothing else. plus, i might be able to use some of it for portfolio stuff.

Actually, I'm one of the "other art form" guys, working primarily with 3D render stuff in most of my submissions. I'd hate to have to go up against some of the talent in that category anyway; Adamo's work is monster and I hear B has an in with the judges . Anyway, I'd be happy to draw or photomanip or whatever, just to roll up my sleeves and join in the fun... and that Wacom tablet sure makes for great motivation! BTW, WWG...that sure is an interesting way to mix and heat up your drink at the same time!

i think if u cant make it for one of the rounds u should forfeit and the person u were to face advances into the next round. that way guys like us might win a round or 2 lol
