Don\'t you think the title - \"The Punisher: Welcome Back Frank. Shooting is set to start in Montreal late September.\" is such an awkward title

in the current MAX imprint Punisher series by Garth Ennis. Don\'t remember the details, but Ennis\'s run has been pretty good with a lot of violence and adult themes. I\'m curious if they\'ll keep to that standard.

this was actually in the 30\'ish issue run prior to the current series. It was written by Ennis and concentrates on the Punisher\'s efforts to take out a large mob family that had become powerful in his absence (previous to this storyline, Punisher was captured and sentenced to the electric chair. Some mobsters busted him loose and tried to turn him to their ways.)

Anyway, Ma Gnucci was the main villain. Parts of this storyline were ripped away and put in the Tom Jane Punisher film (most notably the Russian, and the three misfits living in Frank\'s apartment. Now I\'m even more curious to see fi this will be the adaption they use for the film, seeing as everything I\'ve read about the script seems to point to a Jigsaw storyline that has nothing to do with the Welcome Back Frank line from the comics.
