...but I\'d like to see a villain we haven\'t seen on screen before. I\'m not a huge Brainiac fan, but I\'d much rather see him than Zod again. Unless Zod is there with another villain besides Luthor. Same villains over and over just gets boring.

Not gonna happen. Two or three seasons ago, Terrance Stamp relayed to one of the Smallvile sites that the reason he\'d never do an on camera appearance on the show, instead of the voiceovers of Jor-el, and even Zod, is due to 1. his age, (he was born in 1939 which puts him two year shy of 70) and also his unwillingness to leave his over seas home at this stage of his career.

I really enjoyed Terence Stamp as Zod in Superman 2 and think he is the best villian to appear in a Superman movie. However I don\'t really want to see Zod in the Bryan Singer movies. It seems as if Byran Singer can\'t come up with his own ideas for the Superman movies and just wants to do remakes of the Richard Donner classics. How would Zod Return didn\'t he become powerless at the end of the second film and fall down a pit? Another thing is that if the new Superman films are sequels to the first two movies wouldn\'t Terence Stamp be to old to star as Zod.
I think Singer should go with another villian, there are plenty of good Superman villians to pick from my personal favourites being Brainiac, Metallo and Parasite. |
