I don't know much about Branagh, but at least they finally got the ball rolling.

Amazing choice. After watching Henry V, I really think he can pull it off.

After so many superhero movies, it's hard for me to get excited about any new projects. More often than not, they are so-so, or just plain bad. You have to hear about the talent involved behind the scenes to really have a good idea of what to expect.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, after the really crappy Comic movies we got back in the late 70's, it would have to suck way worse than Batman and Robin to turn me off.

Sounds interesting to me..... MARVEL definitely seems to know what they are doing ever since they started their new studio. I have faith in MARVEL babY! Give it to me!

Now THAT'S an interesting choice. Yeah, Branagh's not done special effects-laden stuff. But he did a bang-up job adapting "Hamlet" - he pretty much included the whole play, which a lot of directors haven't done. On the other hand, he cut "Love's Labour's Lost" down to next to nothing to insert a bunch of 1930's songs (he turned the play into a sort of musical). The acting would certainly be of appropriate "Shakespearean" caliber.

I like Kenneth Branagh, I'm sure he'd get the dialogue right, but he doesn't seem like a comic book fan.

Neither was Brian Singer, but look what he did... Oh. Never mind.
