Woo-hoo! Two great season premieres (BSG being the other)!

I'm beginning to suspect that "The Others" were originally the 815 survivors.

I'm going to say that the 815 Surviors are the source for the whispers but I think the descendants of the Black Rock are the true "Others" as indicated in the Chang/Candle/Halliwax in the beginning of the film calling them hostiles.


Ok... lot of parental issues going on here.

Faraday's mom - Hawking?
Chang/Candle/Halliwax's baby - Miles?
Kate/Aaron - Widmore sought court order or Ben manipulation to put Kate on track to the island?

But...umm...don't the whispers always precede an appearance by The Others (or Smokey (?))

Oh man, bitchy dude was AWESOME! For as many times as he said his name, I suddenly cannot remember it. I was a bit bummed to see him bite it, but oh so amused by how it happened.

Heeey..does Walt need to go back, too? I would expect that he does, no?

Heyyyyy...good point about Walt. I mean, everyone means EVERYONE. So how are they going to explain that one?

I still suspect that Jin is not dead.

RE: Walt, Ben did let him go before, so maaaaybe he gets to stay off of the island, but seriously, we've got to have some resolution on his storyline. What the hell can he do? Why did The Others want him so badly? What did he do for them? How did he know things about the future?

Here's another thought. Did anyone else see the pregnant woman in the open Dharma Orientation scene?

Charlotte's mother, perhaps? If we think Miles is Chang's son that puts the two babies close in age. We know the video looks to be dated around the late 70's which makes Ben near teenager. He said Charlotte was born on the island.

Hey guys, long time no see. I'm so busy at works sometimes it's unreal, but I wouldn't miss these chats.

There's really too much going to think about. It seems to me that the 815 islanders have ended up in the middle of some sort of tribal war between two island factions (one of bows and arrows and the other with name tags and guns), we dunno when this happens, it could be future or past. I didn't catch any of the name (tags) on any of the gun-toting hostiles, a clue perhaps?

I'm thoroughly convinced we will see the Black Rock washed onto the island via Tsunami this season.

I'm also convinced that Richard is one of the "future" scientists who is linked to the islands origins (I've long said that the island is from the future, or at least the technology on it is).
