Terminator Salvation kicked ass action-wise.

So for blowjobs, seek Jake or your wife. The latter is probably the better option.

I'm still waiting for you to own up the fact that TS was a good starting point for a new trilogy.

Damn! I really need to go to the movies more. I still haven't seen Star Trek! There just isn't extra money for going to the theater. Washer broke, needed plumbing repairs (to the tune of $850), my kid's car has a crack in the radiator. It just never ends. I'll just have to live vicariously through you guys.

Yeah, it had some good action bits, but the problem was I just didn't care. I wanted to. I really did. But I couldn't. Okay, look at it this way, Up crammed more character development and emotion into 5 minutes of film (with no dialogue, mind) than Terminator: Salvation did the entire movie. Little character notes in Trek, made me smile and care about those characters all over again. In Terminator: Salvation, it felt like they were just ticking off dialogue and moments on a checklist. One note that really worked well for me was Ahnuld's cameo. It fit the moment perfectly and the fx were seamless. I really dug that.

I'm not saying that T:S sucked, because it didn't. It just lacked any genuine heart and emotional connection, except for a few scenes with Marcus.

All this would've probably been overlooked had I been able to see Moon Bloodgood's tits.

Jakester, you're only repeating what the critics have said about T:S.

face facts, those critcs have never seen T3: rise of the machines, if you want to see an example of a Terminator movie sucking the scenery... that would be the very best example.

the only thing that truely sucked in Terminator: Salvation was knowing that FOX had just cancelled Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles in favor of Dollhouse.

I agree with Jakester all the way except I am willing to say that IT DID SUCK! I honestly, would rather watch Terminator 3 over Salvation anyday.

The characters were flawed in SOOOOO many ways with no emotion coming out of anybody except Sam Worthington....And WTF was Bryce Dallas Howard doing in that fucking movie?!

*Shakes head* at GD.

Damn you..

And welcome back, Trix! Sorry to hear about your car demons tearing holes in your wallet. I'm in transition between rides at the moment. Thinking about getting a Focus just to be only one of three drivers in the Houston area with the car. Because that's how I roll...

I didn't see the new Terminator movie yet, but I'll weigh in and say it sucked. Or will. Sorry. Being an ass. No - more like bored. Found an incredible new beer I can't get enough of - Widmer Brothers Drifter Pale Ale. Ya gotta try it!
